Waterside Artists Co-operative runs The Ropewalk Arts Centre in Barton upon Humber, a quarter-of-a-mile long former Ropery which now houses regularly-changing art exhibitions, a craft gallery, sculpture garden, museum about the history of the building and Hall’s Barton Ropery, a fantastic Coffee Shop, meeting rooms, artists’ studios and a dedicated theatre space for live music, theatre, comedy and film.
Your support will enable us to continue improving our offer for visitors near and far. We run regular arts workshops for adults and young people, a full programme of performances in our Ropery Hall, and we welcome new makers to our Craft Gallery throughout the year. Money raised through the Lincs Lotto helps in a number of ways, from keeping our promenade maintained to lighting our exhibitions, providing natural homes for wildlife in our Sculpture Garden to delivering children’s gallery tours.
Whether you join us for a slice of homemade cake and a cuppa, fancy learning about the history of this iconic building, or want to browse for a special gift, you’re always welcome at The Ropewalk!
A huge thank you for supporting us through the Lincs Lotto, and good luck!
