Champ is a charity which manages Baysgarth House Museum in Barton upon Humber, having saved it from closure in 2004. We’ve run the museum in Baysgarth Park with the help of our team of volunteers ever since, hosting constantly changing exhibitions.
We also manage three other buildings in the town - these include the historic Assembly Rooms (open as a community events and performance venue) Maltby Lane hub (the old youth centre) and 51 Fleetgate, one of Barton’s oldest buildings presently awaiting restoration. 51 Fleetgate is currently closed to the public, as we are raising funds to restore and re-open the building.
We need your help so we can keep Baysgarth House Museum open to the public, improve the Museum and expand the exhibitions. In addition to this, your support will make the restoration at 51 Fleetgate possible.
