Isle Community Choir fundraises £1,000 thanks to Lincs Lotto players

30 January 2020

Isle Community Choir have raised £1000 thanks to Lincs Lotto players.

The community choir was set up in 2012, with the intention to set up an open access choir, with no auditions, to sing for the pleasure of members and members of the public. Their main aim is to perform concerts to raise money for local charities and entertain the local community.

Sheila Eade, from the choir, said:

“We have spent Lincs Lotto funds mainly on music to extend our repertoire but also have to ensure we have portable equipment such as keyboard and speakers to take to the concert venues so fundraising is a constant need.

“Our choir members are great ambassadors for the enjoyment of music and we thank all our supporters of the Lincs Lotto in helping us grow and improve.”
